Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugars together until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks.
