A delightful fusion of chocolate chip cookies and brownies that offers a rich, gooey texture and scrumptious flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie batter and then spread the remaining brownie batter on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  10. Let it cool before cutting into squares and serving.
