A delightful combination of chewy brownies and rich chocolate chip cookie dough, these Brookies are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup cookie dough (prepared) for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually blend dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of the prepared cookie dough over the brownie batter.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough and swirl slightly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
