- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- Chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually blend into the wet mixture.
- Divide the dough and fold cocoa powder into one half to create the chocolate dough.
- Drop alternating tablespoons of the vanilla and chocolate dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Press chocolate chips into the top of each dough ball.
