Description

Indulge in the delightful combination of vanilla and chocolate flavors with these chewy marble cookies, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • Chocolate chips (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually blend into the wet mixture.
  5. Divide the dough and fold cocoa powder into one half to create the chocolate dough.
  6. Drop alternating tablespoons of the vanilla and chocolate dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Press chocolate chips into the top of each dough ball.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and centers are soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For extra chewy cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Store cookies in an airtight container for optimal freshness.
