Description

Deliciously chewy chocolate chip cookies with a crispy exterior and gooey center, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or rounded tablespoon, drop portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and centers may look slightly underbaked.
  9. Let them cool on wire racks before serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature butter and avoid overbaking. Store cookies in an airtight container.
