- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter with the granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes on medium speed.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs, beating until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture on low speed, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving enough space for spreading.

- Let cookies cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
