Description

Chewy Chocolate Brownie Cookies are the perfect combination of brownie texture and cookie convenience, loaded with rich chocolate flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Flaky sea salt for sprinkling


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix in the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt, folding into the chocolate mixture until just mixed.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are shiny and crinkly. Let cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, don’t overmix the dough and chill for 30 minutes if you prefer thicker cookies.
