Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of the potato mixture and shape them into small balls.
- Carefully drop them into the hot oil and fry until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.
