Description

Deliciously chewy blondies infused with the rich, nutty flavor of browned butter and packed with chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it begins to brown and smells nutty. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned butter and brown sugar, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
