Description

A hearty and delicious one-pot meal combining rich sausage flavors with nutritious black beans and fluffy rice, perfect for weeknight dinners and meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 pound sausage (smoked or Italian)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add sausage and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in rice, black beans, chicken broth, cumin, and paprika.
