Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (167g) salted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (123g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (115g) granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (304g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (200g) favorite chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop the dough into portions and arrange them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown on the edges.
  8. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
