Description

Deliciously warm and gooey chocolate chip cookies, perfectly balanced with buttery richness and sweet chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Gradually blend in the flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking pans, 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
