Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, browned
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- Cream together the browned butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are light golden.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
