Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the flour and baking soda, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
