Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, beating each egg in one at a time until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between scoops.
