- 2 cups chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, or a mix)
Instructions
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Cover and chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 24 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
