Description

The easiest, crispiest, and most delicious nachos made in an air fryer, perfect for a quick snack or gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag (10-12 ounces) thick-cut tortilla chips
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeño slices
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, pico de gallo


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and drain any excess grease.
  2. Add the taco seasoning and water, stirring well. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
  3. Heat the refried beans in a microwave-safe bowl for 1-2 minutes until warmed.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
  5. Spread a layer of tortilla chips in the basket, followed by refried beans, seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, jalapeños, and red onion.
  6. Place the basket in the air fryer, set to 350°F, and air fry for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melty and bubbly.
  7. Transfer the nachos to a serving platter, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve with your favorite toppings.
