Description

A quick and delicious breakfast hack featuring toasted bread topped with eggs and cheese, made effortlessly in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of thick bread (sourdough or sandwich)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley or chives


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Press a well into the center of each slice for the egg.
  4. Crack one egg into the well of each slice.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the egg whites.
  6. Air fry for about 6 to 8 minutes until the whites are set and the cheese is melting.
