A quick and delicious breakfast hack featuring toasted bread topped with eggs and cheese, made effortlessly in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of thick bread (sourdough or sandwich)
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley or chives
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Press a well into the center of each slice for the egg.
- Crack one egg into the well of each slice.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the egg whites.
- Air fry for about 6 to 8 minutes until the whites are set and the cheese is melting.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs before serving.
