Description
Quick and easy air fryer cookies with crispy edges and gooey centers, perfect for lazy bakers.
Ingredients
- 125 g unsalted butter (softened)
- 100 g brown sugar
- 50 g white sugar
- 1 egg (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 150 g dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl for 10-20 seconds.
- Add the brown and white sugar and mix well.
- Crack in the egg and add vanilla extract, then mix again.
- Gradually add the flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips, folding gently until uniform.
- Optionally chill the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Line the bottom of your air fryer basket with parchment paper.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place in the air fryer basket with space between them.
- Set the air fryer to 160°C and bake for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them rest in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes before removing.
- Repeat with remaining dough until finished.
Notes
These cookies can also be made gluten-free with a gluten-free flour blend. Letting the dough chill helps maintain cookie shape.
