Description

Quick and easy air fryer cookies with crispy edges and gooey centers, perfect for lazy bakers.

Ingredients

  • 125 g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 50 g white sugar
  • 1 egg (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 150 g dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl for 10-20 seconds.
  2. Add the brown and white sugar and mix well.
  3. Crack in the egg and add vanilla extract, then mix again.
  4. Gradually add the flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips, folding gently until uniform.
  5. Optionally chill the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Line the bottom of your air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  7. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place in the air fryer basket with space between them.
  8. Set the air fryer to 160°C and bake for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let them rest in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes before removing.
  10. Repeat with remaining dough until finished.

Notes

These cookies can also be made gluten-free with a gluten-free flour blend. Letting the dough chill helps maintain cookie shape.
