Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
- In another bowl, mix the applesauce, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop the batter into muffin cups, filling them about two-thirds full.
- Place muffin cups in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 to 12 minutes. Check with a toothpick for doneness.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
